​I'm writing to request a general maintenance and update pass for the open-event-server repository, focusing on two key areas:

​1. Dependency Updates
​Please consider updating the project’s dependencies. Modernizing these is essential for:
​Security: Addressing known vulnerabilities.
​Stability: Ensuring compatibility with modern environments and recent language versions (Python).
​Maintainability: Improving the project's long-term health.

​2. Docker Setup Modernization
​The current Docker configuration could benefit from an update to align with contemporary best practices. This should include:
​Reviewing Base Images: Utilizing the most secure and up-to-date stable base images.
​Optimizing Build Processes: Implementing techniques like multi-stage builds to create smaller, faster, and more efficient production images.
​These updates will greatly enhance the security and deployment process for the Open Event Server.
